Delivery policy
Where consignments are delivered
To the address stated on the order — a laboratory, an institution or, within the United States, a residential address. PO boxes are not served, and the delivery address cannot be changed after an order is placed. Every order is checked, line by line, against the destination allow-list for the compound ordered, whatever kind of address it names.
The destinations served for each compound are published on the shipping destinations page and on each product page. The published list operates as an allow-list.
Carriage charge
Carriage is a single flat charge of $20.00 per order, in US dollars, applied once however many lines the order contains and whatever the order is worth.
There is no minimum order value, and no threshold above which carriage is reduced or waived.
The charge is shown in the order panel before an order is placed, alongside the subtotal and the total. The figure in this document and the figure in that panel are the same value, read from one configuration file, so they cannot state different amounts.

Fulfilment route and importation
Every consignment — boxes of 10 and single vials alike — is shipped direct from the manufacturing facility to the delivery address, and is not routed through the Supplier's premises. The Supplier holds no stock.
The consequence is stated here rather than at the border. On a consignment shipped direct from the manufacturer, the customer is the importer of record. Because every consignment ships that way, this applies to every order, not only to boxes. Any import duty, import tax, customs clearance fee or handling charge arising at the destination border is payable by the customer, is assessed by the destination authority rather than by the Supplier, and is not included in the price shown or in the carriage charge above.
The Supplier cannot estimate destination charges. They depend on the tariff classification, the declared value, the destination state's rates and any relief the customer is entitled to claim. A customer who requires that figure before ordering should obtain it from a broker or from the destination authority.
Dispatch
An order accepted on a working day is passed to the fulfilment facility on that working day, subject to the lot on sale holding a current Certificate of Analysis. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays in Malta.
No dispatch cut-off is published and none should be inferred from the time an order is placed. Consignments are dispatched by the facility that holds the stock, and the Supplier does not commit on its behalf to a time at which a given consignment will leave.
An order confirmation is issued when the contract is formed, and a dispatch notice carrying the tracking reference is issued when the consignment is handed to the carrier. That notice is the point at which the consignment is known to have left the facility.
Tracking and signature
Every consignment is tracked end to end. Every consignment is signed for on receipt, whatever its value, and the signature record is retained as evidence of delivery.
Shipping condition
Products are supplied as lyophilised powders and are shipped at ambient temperature, which the lyophilisate tolerates for short-duration transit. On receipt, Products should be moved to the storage condition published on the product page without delay.
Where a compound requires cold-chain carriage this is stated on its product page and the consignment is carried accordingly.
Packaging
Outer packaging carries the research-use statement and CLP hazard labelling in type no smaller than 8 point, positioned so that it is legible without opening a flap or lifting a label.
Each consignment contains: the Products; a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis whose lot number matches the vial label; a Safety Data Sheet in an official language of the destination Member State; a commercial invoice; and a packing list.
Customs
Consignments leaving the customs territory of the Union are accompanied by a commercial invoice stating the compound name, sequence, CAS number, tariff classification, country of origin, quantity, net weight, price and Incoterms, together with the air waybill, the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the destination-language Safety Data Sheet, the Supplier's EORI number ([[EORI_NUMBER]]) and, for United Kingdom destinations, the GB EORI number ([[GB_EORI_NUMBER]]), and the signed end-use research declaration on institutional letterhead.
Import duties, import taxes and customs charges arising in the destination territory are the Buyer's responsibility, as stated under "Fulfilment route and importation" above, unless the agreed Incoterms provide otherwise.
Consignments are occasionally held for examination by a customs authority. The Supplier will supply supporting documentation on request but cannot influence the timing of release.
Non-delivery
Where a tracked consignment has not arrived within 10 working days of the indicative transit time, support@dohrna.com should be notified with the order number and the tracking reference. The Supplier will open an enquiry with the carrier and will replace or refund the consignment where loss is established.
