Questions and answers

32 questions · ordering · verification · documentation · shipping

Everything below is the published position. Anything not covered here is answered by a named operator on the support line, within two business days.

The assistant answers these instantly

It reads the same catalogue the site does — ask it about a compound by name, a catalogue number, a price, or anything on this page. It never generates an answer: every reply is a published figure or a fixed statement, and anything outside that is handed to a person.

Ordering

How an order is built, priced and completed.

How is an order placed?

Lines are added to the basket from the catalogue. Each strength and each pack size is a separate line, so a box of ten and a single unit of the same compound are chosen independently.

The basket carries through to checkout, where delivery details and the end-use declaration are completed. On confirmation the order is recorded and the WhatsApp support line opens with the order details already filled in, where a named operator completes it.

Ordering requires an account that has signed the research-use declaration. The catalogue and every price are readable without one.

Is there a minimum order?

No. There is no minimum order value and no minimum quantity on any line. A single unit is a complete order.

What payment methods are accepted?

No card is accepted and no card details are stored. There is no card form on this site and nothing is charged at the moment an order is placed. An order is recorded first and given its reference, and the payment details are shown on the screen that follows.

USDT is accepted, on the network stated beside the address. An order can also be arranged over the support line instead. Either way a payment is confirmed by a named operator who has checked it against the account — nothing on this site confirms a payment automatically, and no chain or bank feed is watched.

No card acquirer is appointed. When one is, the terms will be published here and on the checkout page before any card charge is possible.

How is delivery charged?

Delivery is a flat $20.00 per order, charged once however many lines the order carries, whatever the order is worth.

The fee applies to box orders as well as single units. It is charged on top of the line prices rather than absorbed into them, and the catalogue states it plainly rather than describing any line as delivered free.

Which currency are prices in?

Every price of record is in US dollars. The currency control in the header converts the displayed figure into a number of other currencies for reading convenience only — an indicative conversion at a reference rate, dated on the control itself.

The converted figure is never the amount charged, never carried into the basket, and never used in an order. The order is denominated in the price of record.

Can an order be changed after it is confirmed?

Yes, up to the point of dispatch, through the operator handling the order on the support line. Nothing on this site cancels or amends an order automatically, because nothing on this site has taken a payment to reverse.

Is bulk pricing available?

Yes. Every line is sold in ones, fives and tens, and the rate per vial falls at five and again at ten — up to 25% off the single-vial price at the deepest step. The rate is shown on the quantity control before it is chosen, and it is applied when the order is recorded rather than only displayed.

How far the rate falls depends on the line. Quantities beyond ten, and standing supply arrangements, are quoted by an operator rather than listed.

Accounts and verification

Who is eligible to order, and what approval involves.

Who is eligible to order?

Research accounts. An account is opened with a full name, email address and country, and the research-use declaration is signed with a typed full name before the first order. Supply is for laboratory research use only.

Each order is re-confirmed against the declaration, and each line is checked against the destination policy for that compound before the order is recorded.

What does verification involve?

Five steps, in this order:

1. Account created with a full name, email address and country 2. Research-use declaration confirmed point by point and signed with a typed full name 3. Signature recorded with the date, time and network address, and kept with the account 4. Declaration re-confirmed on every order 5. Destination checked against each compound's allow-list before an order is recorded

3 of the five are completed inside the registration form itself. The remaining 2 happen on every order: the declaration is re-confirmed, and each line is checked against its destination policy.

How long does approval take?

There is no approval step. Ordering opens as soon as the account exists and the declaration is signed.

Enquiries are answered within two business days. Account status is visible at any time on the account page.

Is a VAT number required?

No. A VAT number is not requested. Prices are in USD and no VAT is applied at checkout; any import charges at the destination are the buyer's, as the shipping page states.

What is the end-use declaration?

A statement, confirmed point by point and signed with a typed full name when the account is opened, that material supplied is for laboratory research use only and will not be administered to humans or animals. It is recorded with the date, time and network address, kept with the account, and re-confirmed on every order.

Products and documentation

What is supplied, how it is identified, and what arrives with it.

What is supplied with each unit?

A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis, issued by a named ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, carrying a lot number that matches the label on the unit and a chromatogram trace from the run.

A 16-section Safety Data Sheet in an official language of the destination Member State, free of charge and no later than first supply. Hazard classification, pictograms and the full text of the applicable statements are published on each product page.

Can a Certificate of Analysis be seen before ordering?

A Certificate of Analysis is valid only for the lot whose number is printed on the label, so a document for a lot that is not the one supplied answers nothing. A document for a superseded lot is not a substitute for the current one.

The specification a line is held to is published on its product page. The measured figures for a specific lot are issued with that lot.

What purity is specified?

Purity is specified per line and reported per lot by HPLC, with the chromatogram from the issuing laboratory attached to the Certificate of Analysis.

Lot figures are not published in advance of the laboratory returning them. A figure quoted before analysis would be a claim rather than a measurement.

How is a compound identified on the site?

Each line carries a catalogue number, a chemical name, CAS and PubChem references where they exist, molecular formula, molecular weight and — for peptides — the one-letter and three-letter sequence and residue count.

Identity values are verified against PubChem rather than transcribed, and the provenance of each is stated on the product page. Where a value has not been determined it is shown as an open item rather than filled with a plausible-looking figure.

What physical form does material arrive in?

Lyophilised powder in a sealed unit, unless the product page states otherwise. Solvents and laboratory consumables in the catalogue are supplied in their own stated form.

How should material be stored?

Lyophilised material is held at −20 °C, desiccated and protected from light. The specification for a particular line is on its product page and on the documentation issued with the lot.

Material travels at ambient temperature; the lyophilisate is stable for short-duration transit, which is why no cold chain is quoted.

How large is the catalogue?

32 lines are published, grouped by compound class. The catalogue is organised by what the molecules are, not by application, goal or outcome — there is no such grouping in the data model, deliberately.

What if a compound is not listed?

The catalogue lists every line currently supplied. A compound absent from it is either not supplied or not cleared for publication, and an operator can say which.

Enquiries are answered within two business days.

Shipping

Where supply is available and what happens in transit.

Which destinations are served?

Every compound carries its own destination allow-list, and the shipping page carries the list as it stands. The catalogue as published is manufactured and held in the United States and is allowed to the United States; a line whose policy for another destination has not been determined is refused for that destination rather than assumed.

The checkout takes any country, and each line is checked against its own list before the order is recorded, with the reason stated where a line cannot go.

How long does delivery take?

No transit time is published. Carriage is arranged per order by the operator handling it, and the estimate for a particular destination is given at that point rather than quoted site-wide.

Is tracking provided?

Tracking details are issued by the operator on dispatch, through the same channel the order was completed on.

Who handles customs and import duties?

Consignments are declared under the applicable commodity code with the Safety Data Sheet and Certificate of Analysis accompanying them. Import duties and any destination-country charges are the receiving institution’s, unless the operator states otherwise in writing for a particular order.

If something is wrong

Damage, discrepancies, returns and complaints.

What if a consignment arrives damaged or incomplete?

Report it on the support line with the order reference and the lot number on the label. Photographs of the outer packaging and the unit help, and a replacement or credit is arranged by the operator.

Reporting before the unit is opened makes the case straightforward; reporting afterwards does not forfeit it.

What is the returns position?

Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by the published policies in the legal section and are handled by a named operator.

Material that has left the supply chain cannot be returned to stock, so a discrepancy is resolved by replacement or credit rather than by return, unless the policy states otherwise for the case at hand.

How is a complaint raised?

In writing to complaints@dohrna.com, or on the support line. The complaints procedure, including the escalation route and the named alternative dispute resolution entity, is published in the legal section.

Who is contacted about a product safety concern?

safety@dohrna.com reaches the product safety contact directly. A safety report is not routed through the ordinary support queue.

Research-use position

What this catalogue is for, and what will never be provided with it.

Are these products for human use?

No. Everything in this catalogue is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. Nothing here is for human or veterinary use, for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, or for use as a medicine, food additive, cosmetic, household chemical or agricultural product.

No line in the catalogue holds a marketing authorisation as a medicinal product in any EU or EEA Member State or in the United Kingdom.

Is guidance on preparation or quantity provided?

No, in any form, for any line, to any customer. Not on the product pages, not by the assistant, not by an operator on the support line, and not on request.

This is a fixed position rather than a matter of what is asked or by whom. A supplier that answers that question is making a claim about use, and this catalogue does not make one.

Why is the site written in this register?

The copy is third person throughout and carries no claim about what any compound does, because a research-reagent catalogue that describes effects is advertising a medicine it has no authorisation for.

The constraint is enforced mechanically rather than by editorial care alone: the rendered output of every page on this site is scanned before each release, and one claim, one second-person address or one word from the prohibited vocabulary fails the build outright.

What are the published quantity limits?

Each line carries a quantity cap per verified account per rolling 30 days, stated on its product page. The cap exists so that supply volumes stay consistent with laboratory research use.
